Overview
RJB runs a comprehensive remodel program for Panera Bread locations nationwide, completing 20 to 30 stores a year and bringing each up to current brand standards in 2 weeks. Work is scheduled at night so each store stays open for customers during the day.
How we delivered
Exterior work covers new building signage on the front and side elevations, updated pylon and monument signage, and new awnings. Inside, crews replace dining chairs, table tops, and booth and banquette upholstery, and rebuild the beverage and service stations — countertops, cabinets, trash and bussing stations, millwork shutter screens, and RPU delivery units.
Finishes get a full refresh: repainted walls, new carpet, refinished ceiling tiles and drywall soffits, and door and frame repairs. Lighting is updated with new decorative pendant fixtures, and specialty items like artwork and window treatments are replaced to match current brand standards. Restrooms are refreshed with new paint, ceiling work, wall sconces, vanity mirrors, and plumbing fixture repairs. Store-specific items — such as new vinyl bases at booths, butcher block counters, and reconfigured beverage station cabinetry — are added on a store-by-store basis as needed.
