RJB completed a 120,000-square-foot warehouse renovation for Amazon in Delaware, including a 12,000-square-foot addition to the main building and a 1-acre parking lot expansion. The project addressed structural, electrical, and mechanical systems throughout the facility to support an expanded sorting and logistics area.
Structural alterations made room for the expanded sorting and logistics area, and crews added an automated loading dock door system along with Dockzilla adaptable loading docks to handle higher volume. Concrete floors were refinished with a durable seal and guard, and new HVAC systems, ductwork, and piping were installed for climate control throughout the building.
A full Energy Management System was installed and integrated into the building's overall Building Management System, which required a complete overhaul of the existing electrical system to support the larger loads the new automation demands. New bathrooms and breakrooms were also added for the workforce.
Let's talk about what you're building and how RJB can deliver it.
